Vedic Math Hits the United States!

The Houston Chronicle has a feature today on Alpha Math Station, a for-profit vedic mathematics afterschool program. (Via Sepia Mutiny’s News Tab.)

The center downplays the religious origins of the curriculum. Sessions are twice a week at a cost of $95 a month.

The most Indian part of the article? One parent enrolled her children to “exercise their brains.”
