A new emergency contraceptive pill, the I-pill, is now available over-the-counter in India. The marketing team behind the pill is currently running three television advertisements promoting the pill’s use.
Youth Curry recently criticized the ads for being too tame because all of the spots feature married couples. The ad below stresses this fact by lingering on the hand of a young bride so the viewer can see both the mehndi on her hands and her wedding ring. Can anyone picture an ad like this running in the States? I can’t.
