This is a classic example of ceasing every chance to enjoy life and celebrate differences. While the wedding is one from the North Western part of India where food and more importantly fun takes the center stage, the weddings from Southern part are a lot more subdued. India is a complex and complicated country with numerous customs and practices but unified with common values of family, universal friendship and irrevocable commitment. I hope these values are not lost in the frenzy of fun. Good one Lakshmi and thanks for sharing.
